On the 3rd day of our trip...I know i missed day 2, we went to a water park for free and those pictures are on a underwater camera still to be developed. We went out on the boat to shell island, a protected island with the bay on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other. Beautiful! The sand is gorgeous and the water so pretty! This island is known for the ability to find shells.
Dave was our captain and his co captain was Garrett.
We came home with about 30 sand dollars and star fish. Amongst the shell finding we found other creatures too. We dug a whole and put Madison and Garrett in it, that is as close as we could get to covering them in sand.
Aunt Debi went with us, along with Katrina, Ashton, my cousin Ricky and his son Blake. We had a blast and was definitely a high light of the vacation. Madison and Garrett had never been on a boat so this was another check mark on new things to do.
Pretty soon it was time to head in, we stopped in the middle of the bay to take a dunk! Fun Fun!
And sometimes it is just so darn hard to be on vacation

What a fun vacation! I am so glad you guys got to enjoy some together as a family. So glad the weather was good. It makes it just that much more fun when you can spend every minute out having fun!
