Wacky Wednesday

Yesterday at school Madison had Wacky Wednesday. She has done nothing but talk about this day for the last week. Her teacher talked about the day and all the different things they could do to dress wacky. Yesterday she got up and started to prepare her outfit. Jean on inside out, shorts over jeans, shirt on inside out, two different colored socks, rain boots, ponytail on top of head with two more pigtails in the back.
It took all I had to let her go to school like this!!!!
At school the whole day was wacky, worked on the worksheet and wrote letters laying on the floor under the desk, no chairs for school, instead of everyone starting the day in green they started in red. reading the story backwards, writing the letter for the day and messing the order up. Her teacher told us this is her favorite day of the year.
For the record I have no idea where she learned to pose like that.

Seeing is Believing

See there really is a baby in there! This picture taken Sunday at 36 weeks!
Madison says "it looks like my mom has a really big apple in my tummy but really it is a baby, and Garrett thinks it is a bunch of bananas"
Where they come up with this information I am not sure.
Lots of fun stuff planned and preparing to do in the next 4 weeks. Looking back with Madison we were completely prepared and set up for her at home by this time, Garrett I believe we were preparing with the last preps, and well this one....seems we haven't even begun to get everything ready. I think part of it is we have learned what you really need for a baby, and with Madison we had so much stuff we didn't even use!

Every 6 months!

Poor Garrett this is his life every 6 months at the allergy doctor. He gets retested for his allergies. He takes it like a man and this time he laid on the table and even fell asleep. I am so glad that he really doesn't mind doctors and needles so much. This picture was taken right after they poked his skin with the allergens, you can already see the hives/welts growing. The red circle forming by each pen mark is what they ultimately measure. Status update, continue on current diet and by no means give this kid nuts or eggs(although it seems to be narrowed to the egg whites). He is a tough kid!

Not an ordinary Valentine

You see instead of an ordinary Valentine's Day we opted for the different yet exciting and fun route. We took the kids to see their very first Hockey Game. We went and watched the Dayton Bombers play.......I have no idea how they played, really does it matter. The Bombers won that is all that matters! Garrett was all into watching the game, right up his alley. Pushing, shoving, hitting things with a stick, even a couple of fights. Madison was a little scared of the noise of the game but quickly got over that. Toward the end of the game Garrett and Madison pretended to play hockey, Garrett's' game was complete with sliding on the pretend ice(floor)

Before this unusual date night we went over to our friends Missy and John for a delicious dinner and dessert. It was a lot of fun to go with a whole group of friends/family. Although it is hard to carry conversations with others unless you are sitting right nest to them. I don't think I was able to talk to Missy all night I was on the end maintaining control of two crazy kids and a husband too!
Sorry about the picture quality, these are cell phone pictures, can you believe it I forgot my camera!

Update

I know it has been forever since my post, well in blogging world anyway. Nothing real exciting. Drs. Appt today went great, baby looks good and thankfully she is head down too! Hopefully she stays that way. I am on weekly appointments now. My only complaint is the unbelievabel thrist I have had this week. Really no news at this point is good news. Maybe I can manage a picture later =)
