Aquatic Park

We went to the Troy Aquatic Park for a birthday party, it was a lot of fun. To bad it is not closer, like in my backyard.....now that would be fun!

4th of July

In no particular order...
We had a really good 4th of July. We attended a wedding, that was well lets just say interesting...never been to one like that.
We attended a pancake breakfast at church.
We took pictures of the kids....yeah they are cute kids for sure! Garrett will get a post of his own with the many faces pulled in an in prompt to photo shoot.

And when you have had enough of the picture taking you act like this...

We just hung out as a family and then watched the fireworks in town which made us miss the fireworks in Idaho. =(

The we let the kids play with sparklers, fun was had by all! (I know you are thinking sparklers that is it, but hey fireworks are expensive!)

Mckenzie lasted about 1 minute into the fireworks, the excitement was just too much!

Cousins

Hanging out with her cousin Ashton, he is almost 2 months older to the day. They have their own secret little talks and laugh at each other. It is by far the cutest thing to watch...and every once in a while they will try to attack each other.

Sometimes...

Sometimes it is just way to much fun to roll on the floor and at the same time roll yourself in a blanket, without a care in the world =) She was pretty darn proud of herself!

This was Mckenzie at 4 months and 3 days. She rolls all over the place and is also trying to inch her way around the room. She will get where she wants to be eventually.
(Disregard my voice)

All 7 Together

At my sisters wedding we had the great opportunity to have all 7 of my parents grandchildren together. Cailtyn (8), Madison (6), Jacob (5), Ashton(5),Aiden (3), Garrett (3) and Mckenzie(3 months).
A fun weekend was had by all! Lots of playing and laughing and playing some more.
And yes, Mckenzie cried in every picture!

Think and Rethink

6....when and where did the last 6 years go. It seems it has flown by. Madison turned 6 on June 4, 2009. (Yes, I know this is really late)

I remember looking into her big eyes right after she was born and thinking, wow she is ours. It was an exciting and happy day, a day that changed the lives of Dave and I. She is our brown hair, blue eyed girl. Our first born.
She can have the attitude of a teenager, but be the sweetest most helpful girl. She loves her sister and her brother too, but boy does he know what buttons to push to get to her.
She can be known to be high maintenance, but really what girl isn't to some degree. She loves to make things, to make friends, to write the best little love notes to her mom and dad.
She amazes us with her strength and her outlook on life, she will study a situation and then the questions fly. She wants to be apart of the group even though she knows she is a little shy in new situations. Give her some time and she comes around.
She will do great things, big and small.
We love you Madison!

Beautiful Wedding

The Wedding was BEAUTIFUL!

First off we stayed in the best hotel ever! At least from a kids perspective. The pool was amazing and we spent many hours every night in the pool. Even Dave got in on the fun and went down the slide.

Mckenzie had her first swim and she liked it. not the best quality but it was taken with a cell phone.

The wedding turned out wonderfully. Everything was beautiful! Although the weather did turn a bit cold on us. It was great getting to see everyone and catch up too.

Father of the Bride and Bride
Vincent and Katrina Catteruccia Family

And by far the cutest little flower girl was in attendance.

And of course walking down the aisle with her cousin Ashton.

When?

It has been awhile, but when did our first born baby girl turn 6??? Where has the time gone. I have a more dedicated post to her turning 6 that will post soon I hope.
We were traveling to my sisters wedding on Madison's birthday so we celebrated doing her one and only request of going to Chuckie Cheese. Why is it kids love that place =) She loved it and that is all that counts. Her cousin Andie was there and they became friends fast!

Then we we came home she had a second birthday party at the park with all the family and friends here.
She received a lot of great gifts and as saved every penny for something special that deserves a post of its own too.
We had our tradition of having a pinata at the party, she wanted Hannah Montana but we could not find one so I convinced her the shoe we found was just like the ones Hannah Montana wore.

The cake was to depict a Hannah Montana Guitar. I was happy with it.

The party was a lot of fun and it is still hard to believe that I have a 6 year old!

We are still here

No excuses here, I can't blame it on being busy or anything like that. Maybe we just needed a break, maybe Facebook is addicting....that darn farm. More soon!
