When we got home the kids were super excited Santa came to our house too. He left the things that he knew would be too big and not very practical for mom and dad to bring home. Garrett and Madison both got this train table and train set, Garrett got one of those big rugs with roads and a town on it to drive all his cars on, and Madison got a doll house. They also received little gifts from us and from friends and family who had mailed presents. We got Garrett a set of 3 Tonka trucks and Madison got a bed for her baby to sleep in. What a fun thing to come home too and kep the kids busy while we unloaded. And a huge SHOUTOUT to Bryan(Daves brother) and Buffy(Sister-n-law) who brough us dinner when we got home. What a good idea, cause we were tired and wouldn't have wanted to cook anything. We love you guys!

Great idea to have some of the gifts at home when you're traveling! I've never thought of that. Of course, we've only gone somewhere for Christmas once.
