Where did the time go?
Today Garrett turns 3! Hard to believe that he is 3 years old now. Dave and I can clearly remember the early morning he was born and how hard he fought to stay here on earth with us.
Looking at him now he is full of more energy then any one person should possess. He climbs, jumps, wrestle, fights with his sister, demands attention and doesn't back down in his quest for what he wants. When we go to the park he quickly makes friends and is definitely a leader.
Garrett is going to be a tough one. Even his allergies do not stop him, he just tells people what he can't eat. I am amazed by his ability to tell people he can't eat eggs or nuts. Not only that but most kids his age would feel left out at not being able to eat things, not him he just moves on with life.
Garrett loves Speed Racer, Batman, Spider man, Superman, and Scooby Doo. Playing with cars is on the top of the list too. This years birthday celebration is going to be speed racer themed.
He has a temperament like his dad, and is famous for pointing his finger and sternly letting you know to leave him alone or that he can do it all by himself. He has a million faces from mean to the cheesiest smile around.
It will be interesting to see how he grows this year and what new things he does. He is a smart boy and has so many traits that will take him far in life.
Who could resist such a cute little "big" boy.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GARRETT!
(Garrett just came in and said, "for my next birthday can I get a watch with people in it?" Not real sure what he is talking about. I reminded him it was still his birthday)
