Practice

A great activity for letter recognition - especially seeing letters portrayed differently, practicing with scissors, using glue (I use glue sticks).

Write all the letters of the alphabet on a piece of paper, pull out the old magazines, scissors, and glue and let kids find the letters and then glue them on the paper corresponding to the letter.
It takes awhile and they learn some patience and sticking with a project. It makes a neat way to display the alphabet.

You are so creative. I think we'll have to do this with our Sydney, too!
