Low Key Christmas

This year we had a really low key Christmas! We stayed home and didn't travel this year which was nice. Christmas morning the kids were so excited, this is the first year that Madison actually got up and before we knew it she has Garrett up too. They were so excited! While we were getting settled Garrett helped himself to the presents and was about to open on before he was stopped, we had to teach the boy to procedure for Christmas morning.

After a quick look at the cookies that Santa devoured, although he did leave some milk, the kids jumped into their stockings without a minute to loose.

On to the presents, they were both so excited to see what they got. Madison was convinced that Santa wrapped in red and white stripped paper with red ribbon, I am so glad that Santa could complete that request.

Madison Received - Digital Camera, Tinkerbell Movie, Sleeping Bag Set, slippers, Guess Who, HS3 Soundtrack

She got a makeup set from Garrett and loved it! Garrett wanted to participate too although Dave was not liking the idea!

Garrett Received - BIG Speed Rex and Speed Racer, Kung Fu Panda Movie, Spiderman Mask and Gloves, Sleeping Bag and Slippers

They both received numerous gifts from friends and family, they loved everything!

Although a low key Christmas we were blessed to spend time as a family, we missed everyone and there were some quiet missing moments too.

That night after we ate and snacked all day we went and saw a movie, Marley and Me. Very cute movie. Madison loved the movie, Garrett did really well but he got tired of sitting for so long!

On a side note Garrett got some underwear for Christmas, and although we have so many pairs he put them on Christmas morning and did really well, the next day not so well but today day 3 he only had one accident and even had them on when we went to the store! Oh I hope this continues!
