Birthday Day Out

Madison had a wonderful day out with mom and dad on Saturday. We started the day out at Club Libby Lou. What a fun place, she was treated like royalty, they made her birthday celebration extra special. She came away with so many goodies. Well worth the price, which surprisingly wasn't expensive. Our day out cost $35 dollars and for that she got to keep the wig (she is Sharpay from High School Musical), nails painted complete with glitter on top, makeup(she got to keep the compact with the makeup they didn't use), she picked a dog and a little bag to go in it, clothes for the dog, a collar for the dog, a Hannah Montana Karaoke CD, a book of Hannah Montana posters, a pink sash, a charm bracelet with extra charm for her birthday, a picture frame. I think that is it but who knows. The next step of the day was to go over to The Children's Place clothing store, I let her pick out 2 outfits, shoes and jammies and she got to pick them. This was hard for me, but she did great. And she loved every minute of it from holding the bag to shop in and then paying for her clothes. After that we went to lunch, and yes she walked around the mall in the wig all dressed up, we got majority smiles but every once and a while we would get the "I can't believe you let your daughter walk around the mall like that." look. We had a lot of fun and on the way home, you can just say it is hard work being a girl!
