Saturday October 14, 2006 we went to the Harvest festival. We went with Madison's friends Sydney and Jackston. There were games for the kids to play and at each game they won a prize. Madison had her first experience with face painting and loved it, her choice was to have a candy corn on one side and a pumpkin on the other just like Sydney had. We had a hard time getting her to wash it off for church on Sunday. Madison and Garrett got to meet the search and rescue dog. One of the few dogs Madison actually went up and touched (she is pretty frightened by dogs...who knows why?). Madison also ventured into a miniature hay maze. The grand finale at the festival was to ride the little kids train. The three of them waited the entire time constantly asking if they could ride the train. It was a fun day and best of all the entire day was FREE! You don't see that very often.
