Life of a kid with a summer birthday hit Madison hard. She was so disappointed that she would not be able to take in birthday treats and get sung too, to make it worse her birthday is the week after school gets out. We asked her teacher and we got to bring in treats so we made ice cream cupcakes.
The cupcakes were fun to make the only problem was how to get them to school. SO we got creative we took a half sheet cake pan taped card stock strips and punched circles.
IT WORKED PERFECT!
The kids loved it and thought it was really neat.
Garrett thought it was great because he got to go to school too and he loved it!

Well look on the bright side at least you don't have to worry about having a birthday party in the winter when the weather is yucky. Cute idea. Here we can't bring homemade food. Bad for us, but safer for our kids.
